1. Different antirust pigments lead to different antirust capabilities

The epoxy zinc rich primer mainly uses zinc powder as the main antirust pigment, and the zinc powder content is 60% - 80%. Therefore, the epoxy zinc rich primer has triple antirust capabilities of cathodic protection, corrosion inhibition and shielding. The zinc powder is corroded before the steel, producing complex, which plays the role of shielding and corrosion inhibition, and protects the steel from rust.

Epoxy zinc phosphate primer mainly uses zinc phosphate as the main antirust pigment. The antirust principle of zinc phosphate is that the adhesion and corrosion inhibition complex formed by hydrolysis reaction can phosphatize the surface of metal substrate, form a particularly effective protective layer within the anode range, play a good corrosion inhibition and shielding effect, and isolate the corrosion medium.

2. Different surface treatments:

3. Different application fields

Epoxy zinc rich primer is a supporting primer for heavy anti-corrosion coating, which is suitable for anti-corrosion coating of steel structures under atmospheric environment, especially under relatively harsh conditions, such as: storage tanks, containers, steel structures, steel pipes, offshore platforms, ships, harbor facilities and undercoats in harsh anti-corrosion environment.

Epoxy zinc phosphate primer is applicable to steel structures, pipelines, storage tanks, mechanical equipment, etc., providing good adhesion and corrosion resistance for the substrate, and can also be used for anti-corrosion coating in chemical plants, fertilizer plants, power plants, refineries, paper mills, sewage treatment plants, etc.

4. Different supporting schemes:

Epoxy zinc rich primer is generally used together with intermediate paint and finish paint. Common supporting schemes:
